FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why should I pay for your service when I can get a FREE design from my local Kitchen Retailer?
There is no such thing as a "FREE" design service. Most kitchen companies charge between 5-10% of the total cost of your kitchen. So if your kitchen costs £10,000 you will be paying the designer/salesman between £500 - £1000 for his biased advice.
What is the advantage of using your kitchen planning service?
Firstly you will get a totally impartial design because we are not trying to sell you a kitchen, secondly equipped with our working drawings, you can distribute them to two, three, four or however many showrooms/design studios you want. You can then present them to the sales staff, and inform them that, subject to any alterations you wish to make, this is the draft of the kitchen that you want. All you need to do is choose a kitchen style and finish, and it is for them - in their time - to prepare final kitchen drawings and an accurate cost.
Important information. Because the sales designers will all be working from the same drawings, ‘singing from the same song sheet‘, you will get a very accurate comparison of the relative costs between the different companies you have chosen. This information will be invaluable in making your final choice. You will also be in a good position to negotiate a discount of 10-20% because they have not had the expense of planning.
